Due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak, Miss Steinmetz is exclusively teaching virtually for the foreseeable future. Lessons are available via Zoom, Skype and Facetime.
Having education in vocal pedagogy, voice science, and vocal hygiene, Eleanor's goal as a teacher is to help students of all skill levels find their unique, healthy voice. Miss Steinmetz builds confidence in her students by building upon the musical foundation that they already have, whether it be the knowledge of a fourth year violin performance major, a teenager who has yet to sing outside of their shower, or a child who's only performance experience is in their living room. Eleanor's priority is to make sure that her students always feel confident in the sound that they're creating, regardless of what vocal technique they have before entering her studio. Miss Steinmetz' passion for the vocal mechanism and vocal health inspired her to pursue her Masters of Science in Speech Pathology from New York University, with her anticipated graduation being in 2023.
